Election Day at last!

After 2 years of campaigning, primaries, debates and such, we've come to the defining moment when Americans choose who will be the next President of the United States.

And all I can say is WOW!

I dragged myself out of bed at 5:45AM to get to my polling location by 6am when the polls open in NJ. We got there AT 6am and there was already a line of I'm guessing maybe 100 people or so ahead of me!! To put it in perspective, I've NEVER EVER waited more than one or two PEOPLE ahead of me to vote - even in all the other presidential elections I've voted in! So to have THAT MANY PEOPLE there when the polls open blows my mind!! Regardless of WHO they were voting for, its clear that people are really participating this year!!

So I voted and it "only" took me 30 minutes. ONLY. WOW. 30 minutes! REALLY??

Here are some really BAD QUALITY photos to show what the lines were like outside of the polling area. My apologies on the quality, but really, what can you expect from a camera phone BEFORE SUNRISE.

Waiting in line or not, I'm so excited and thrilled that people are taking voting so seriously and are obviously so enthusiastic about having a hand in the future of our country!

If you haven't already - don't forget to vote!!
